A week lost to Covid! To be honest, I did have a post for week 4, but I didn't hit publish on my last post because it was a garbled mess of attempting to work through my own feelings, so.. this post will just have to do for both weeks 4 and 5. Phew, glad January is done. Hoping for a healthier February, both mentally and physically.
Lately, I've been trying to start my morning with a Yoga with Adriene video to get my body moving and to have like, 25 minutes to myself before I start my workday. And it's been great! I feel like physical movement and activity has always helped me to get in a better mind space. It does mean I start work a tiny bit later, but if I can focus better throughout the day, then it all works out in the end. Work smarter, not harder, right? Right.
