Photo Week #8
An unexpected result of celebrating multiple birthdays in the last year by playing bocce ball is that I’ve gained a new respect for Olympic curling. Somehow I found myself watching the first half of the gold medal match between the USA mens curling team and Sweden and became pretty invested in the results.

In one of the “ends” I watched, they had to bring out a special tool to measure which stone was closer. It was a close call but it was USA’s point, and they ended up winning gold! Hooray!
This past weekend I went to my first wedding of the year – it was very cold during the ceremony but the rest of the wedding reception was fun. I ate a lot of carbs and danced a lot.

This is one of those photos where it doesn’t look like we’re at a wedding and doesn’t show anything about the couple that we were celebrating.
