Photo Week #36

I’ve been listening to a lot of throwback music lately – this past week’s Spotify #ThrowbackThursday playlist was 2000s music, which is exactly my era. It’s been great. It’s also brought back memories of middle school and high school, mostly pleasant, some embarrassing. It’s nice to think in hypotheticals, sometimes (another high school throwback activity) but the primary emotion I feel when reminiscing is just amazement that things worked out the way they did. 

I ran a 10k this past Sunday morning, and surprisingly managed to pull out a PR! 10k in 49:37, average of 8:00 minute miles – 6th in my age group. The race was along the Embarcadero, a familiar route, and I got to finish inside AT&T park on the actual baseball field, which was a lot cooler than I thought it would be. I also got a very ugly bobble head as a prize.
