Photo Week #21
Happy Memorial Day Weekend! I had a very eventful, fun, crazy, and tiring long weekend. I’ve tried to write this post for the last 40 minutes and am now currently watching The Bachelorette so here is a quick recap of the three day weekend.

The weekend started with an elaborate birthday party dinner that Sam threw, then continued with a very casual baby shower with a beautiful ombré blue cake, and (unpictured) finished up with wine tasting at Wente in Livermore (who needs Napa?). Surprisingly I don’t feel too drained from the amount of social energy that I expended this weekend. Although it could also be that I’m done with school and I feel free! I also feel an immense relief because the Warriors were able to pull off a game 7 win on the road and are headed to the Finals! The last few texts between my mom and I have been solely about the Warriors – a few happy smiley faces and more than a few worried texts. But the most common text is to “hold tight to the fourth quarter” which speaks a lot to the (slightly frustrating) Warriors tendency to be completely flat in the first half and to come out roaring in the third quarter. Four more wins to go!

And now, back to the Bachelorette.
