Celebrated a good weather Saturday and my brother this past weekend – first a lunch at Mamanoko in the Marina in SF (check in on Yelp for 20% off, Friday to Saturday! The sushi was just average but the ramen noodles were great) and taking Jump bikes towards the Golden Gate Bridge. Jump bikes make biking feel very easy.
Then my mom and I made banh mi salad bowls for dinner and the whole meal came together in about 30 minutes. I’m trying to make more quick dinners like these so that when I start working again (hopefully when and not if) I won’t feel too lazy or tired to make a meal at home. I don’t really like big batch cooking (like for the whole week – two or three meals is okay) so I’m trying to remember these recipes – setting myself up for success, you know?
