Photo Week #13

Yesterday, Sam and I cooked an 11(ish) course kaiseki-inspired meal and these are the few photos I managed to get (including my "research" for fresh sashimi in our area). I only got the first two courses (an avocado/tofu/bonito flake amuse bouche and seared scallops with pea vinaigrette) because after that things got a bit hectic and chaotic trying to get all the rest of the dishes plated and served. But overall it was super fun! Would I do it again? ... maybe. The easiest and also best tasting dish was a Nobu-inspired miso marinated black cod - honestly, SO so easy and good if you marinated it for a couple days in advance.

And now I am so sleepy and still very full from last night. Wish me luck getting through the rest of this day...
