Photo Week #50
This morning I went to a ballet class, and the teacher was telling us that there was no class next week or the following week after that. “Why not?” another student asked – and was reminded that next Monday is Christmas the following Monday after that is New Year’s Day! I think I didn’t have a lot of time to really get into the “holiday spirit” this year – probably a combination of traveling during Thanksgiving and spending a lot of time at home. Not working and essentially having had two past weeks of staycation has been good to me so far, though. I’ve gotten way more sleep (perhaps too much) and I’ve seen improvement in my skin and my mood. Haven’t gotten too restless or too bored, although I’ve also probably spent too much time walking around the mall (thankfully didn’t buy too much stuff) and sitting at Coffee Shop. I should start drinking coffee at home, but the daily exodus outside my house every day is a good break. Especially when Roomba is running, because I really can’t stand the sound of the Roomba.
Forgot to take many photos this week, but it was a packed one despite the lack of photo evidence! I visited Facebook for the first time and was amazed by it. It felt like Disneyland, which I guess is the point since apparently they asked the Disneyland Imagineers to design the campus!
I also got my stitches out this week and watched Lady Bird and Star Wars! Exciting stuff. (Wow, didn’t realize I watched two movies this past week.. and will be going to watch Star Wars a second time tomorrow…) On the agenda this week is four more holiday party get together type things, so I foresee a lot of wrapping and potluck dish making in my future. Last two weeks of the year, everyone! Finish strong!
