Photo Week #46

Junie instinctively knew to use her shovel (brought to school for sharing day for the letter "S") to cover her head in the rain because I forgot to bring an umbrella (or a rain jacket for her). It was so funny, and I only felt slightly bad about not being an umbrella because then I would have missed out on this moment.

Happy that this rainy week turned sunny (and in fact even a bit too warm!) for Jeremiah's golf birthday party this weekend - and looking forward to even sunnier days in Socal this week for Thanksgiving. All the outfit ideas I had in mind for sweaters, long sleeves, thick jeans... gone and replaced with light pants and tee shirts. Will have to save up those outfits for some other wintry activities. I'm looking forward to the first two weeks of December - a lot of fun things already planned during the weekdays since the weekends will be basically all Nutcracker all the time - and then only a few more weeks until we say goodbye to 2025 and hello to 2026.

Normally I feel very pessimistic about the end of the year, but - I am cautiously optimistic which feels... good? A little weird? Ask me again in two weeks...
