Photo Week #17

A baby cherry tomato has appeared on the vine! I am super excited about this. Since I’ve taken this photo, I’ve seen a couple more small green tomatoes show up. If you know me, you know I don’t like raw tomatoes (especially in burgers) but I make an exception for homegrown. They just taste better. Anyways, I’m hopeful that my first foray into food gardening will be fruitful. This past year I also water-propagated my basil plant (that was SUPER tall and thin – I definitely did not give it the right amount of attention…) and am quite proud of the new plant (a lot bushier). I have not fully transitioned into house-plant obsession yet because there are just not that many good sunlit areas indoors or outdoors, but who knows what the rest of 2021 will bring…

Sorry this post is so late. I had it written on my to-do list yesterday (as “blog?!”) and even though I was super procrastinating at work, I still did not blog. Just one of those weeks, I guess.
